A blue gingham potholder

I'm not entirely sure why, but I love the gingham pattern. Maybe it's because of Dorothy's blue gingham dress in The Wizard of Oz.

Gingham seems to be having a moment. Barbie wore a pink gingham dress in the Barbie movie. (I'm almost tempted to buy the doll for myself.) Taylor Swift is a fan of gingham. And other celebrities have worn gingham this past year.

In any case, here's the pattern:

Vertical (warp): A medium color all the way across. I used powder blue.

Horizontal (weft): Alternate white loops and a darker loop of the same color. (I used turquoise loops here.)
