I saw the image of this Christmas potholder online some time ago and tried to recreate it but no luck. The other day, though, I noticed that the pattern is the Two-one basketweave pattern for an 18-page loom on Piglet's Potholder Pattern site. (There is also a pattern for a 27-peg loom ). Thanks to whoever came up with this color combo and posted the image online. Here's the potholder on the loom. I also tried this pattern with pine and winter white:

This pattern, called  Tri-color Herringbone , is from Piglet's Potholder site in the plain weave section. (There is a pattern for 27-peg potholders as well.)
