Log cabin potholder pattern (in blue and white)

The log cabin pattern is one of my favorite potholder patterns. The only trick is that on pegs 9 and 10 one color is repeated (both horizontally and vertically).

Here's how to make it for an 18-peg potholder.*

Colors: Robin's egg blue and white

Vertical: Attach loops from left to right as below:

14. blue

18. blue

Horizontal: Weave in loops from bottom to top, following the same pattern as above.
