Southwestern potholder

This potholder is made with turquoise, spice, and flax loops. I kept fiddling around with patterns and decided to make it with the "default" pattern. Simply choose a pattern of colors and repeat it both vertically and horizontally. So, for this potholder, the colors were as follows:

Vertical from left to right:

1. blue

2. blue

3. blue

4. blue

5. flax

6. spice

7. flax

8. blue

9. blue

10. blue

11. blue

12. flax

13. spice

14. flax

15. blue

16. blue

17. blue

18. blue

    
    

Then weave in this same color pattern as above horizontally, from bottom left to top.

You can, of course, try this with any color pattern. As long as you repeat the pattern exactly both horizontally and vertically, it will usually come out looking pretty good!
